Several years ago a good friend of mine Chris (who writes on the site as
Thumper) was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Instead of worrying about the affects of the disease he decided to punch it right in the mouth.
We decided to
ride in the MS150 (a 150 mile bike ride over 2 days) and the first year had about 10 riders and raised about 8 thousand dollars. A few years later we have 20+ riders and raised over $32,000 last year alone. One of our biggest fund raisers was the Annual Handlebar
CornHole tournament. This year we have a new venue and some bands that are going to help us have a blast. If you are in the Cincinnati area on August 1st, head down to the
Sandbar and throw some bags with us. Special thanks to
GiddyInk for the incredible design work donated and
Ample advertising for all of their
contributions. Big thanks to the
Sandbar for letting us crash their bar for the night.
