We are down a tackle

The Bengals must have some confidence in Anthony Collins and Andre Smith because today they released Levi Jones.  Anyone close to the Bengals can't be too surprised at this move as it has been rumored for some time.

I don't understand why there was no effort to try and get value for him. By saying he will be traded or released you have essentially played your hand and teams will not be willing to part with anything of value.  Even a 4th round pick for a tackle does not sound unreasonable to me.

Levi has been a solid player for the Bengals and I wish him well.  I am also nervous that this leaves us pretty thin for offensive line depth.
